Well, does it matter anyway? If you haven’t listened to a song entitled ‘Everybody Lies’ by Jason Walker, do so after reading this and especially if you are a bit skeptical about romantic love like I do. Walker says in his song that “ The only truth is that everybody lies.” If you have never lied when in a romantic relationship, you just won yourself a Nobel Prize! The ugly truth is that, even when you think that you are being honest with each other, you end up realizing that you are just lying to each other and letting your emotions confuse you. Meanwhile, the brain hasn’t been working since the time you two ‘lovebirds’ started having a crush on each other. The big question is: Should we stop looking for love? Two people fall in love and just flow with the tide and before they know it, they are on the lifelike trail of falling out of love. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t successful couples out there. Yes, there are many successful couples except that sometimes you wonder if they are together because of being too freaking in love or because of being two good liars. Hye-sung spent his entire life believing he was an Alpha, the top of the genetic lottery. But his world is flipped upside down when he finds out he isn’t a proud Alpha, but a lowly Omega. After this revelation, he continuously crosses paths with Dojin, an Alpha who can’t stand Omegas. When their physical union results in a life-changing event, the two men's hot-and-cold relationship is put to the ultimate test

If your partner is saying: "Wait!" you wait. If they say "Stop!" you stop. If they say "I don't want this!" STOP!!!!!!! From a family who are mostly composed of Alphas yet Dojin disagrees with the assessment that such a family is incredible because of that. He is also the lead singer in a band named "Distortion" which is his current occupation. Attending a friend's party he would later contemplate this as a bad choice because Omegas were also invited to that party. Dojin saw his friend, the one who hosted the party, debating with Hye-sung that he looked like an Omega. He thought that his friend was pathetic for being unable to differentiate pheromones like he can. Dojin later came across Hye-sung in the comfort room and he smelled him. Disgusted, Park released his own pheromones to counteract Hye-sung's. Dojin does not feel what he sees as a heat cycle and adds what Hye-sung is experiencing is his problem. Nevertheless, he pulls Hye-sung away when he is approaching other guests and takes him home out of concern to rest. The next day Dojin thought he will never see Hye-sung again after walking out from him that morning. At a concert where Dojin performs, he finds and asks Hye-sung why he walked out on the person who offered him kindness. He is currently 27 years old [2]. He was born on November 2 [3]. Height: 185cm. Weight: roughly 81kg. Zodiac Sign: Scorpio Looking at people who enjoy reading mature and smutty series, the stereotype is a sassy but submissive main character with a suave sexy dominant love interest. The main characters doesn't like the male lead, but their sexual chemistry is too strong. This baseline is very common in mature works of fiction and is taken in a new way in BL and omegaverse pieces of fiction. While I'm definitely not going to debate with you about whether you should like dubious/no consent in BL and omegaverse fiction, many educated and progressive authors use these fics to explore fantasies and cater to people like them create and these fics to share and build communities. Of course there are gross pedophilic authors that should be condemned, but most of these parties are of age.

Sarangeun Hwansang! ; 사랑은 환상!

On top of the main lead being the most unlikable protagonist I have ever read, I’m not even sure he actually likes his rich co-star or he’s just thirsting after the money till the very end. What i liked from the beginning is the fact that Dojin realizes well what he has done and takes responsibility. I've read a lot of BLs i rarely see ones (especially manhwas) where there are feelings from the beginning and the story does not start with a rape or some kind of abuse. By the end of the volume, I was rooting more for Sooyoung and Hye-sung than I was for Hye-sung and Dojin. I'd probably have liked Dojin more if it hadn't been for his mind-controlled Alpha rapist moments.

Their baby: Byul's cute. I like the detail that Hyesung's name means Comet and Byul's name means Star. Probably not a coincidence that I tolerate the main couple the most when the focus shifts onto Byul. the marriage scene between the first couple, where it's quite late in their relationship and have decided to stay together for the baby or Hye-sung will quite literally die. Hye-sung rejected Dojin the first time, because he didn't feel ready (being married at age 20 is very odd in Korea, its too young in your career to be worth considering unless you are lined up to marry by your parents or you're already well off,) but has second doubts on what marriage is when he sees the relationship between Dojin's parents, and worries for answering that question in Byul's future. Which is a fair assessment. The issue is this all happens within one short chapter, and every step of the way to it reads like sandpaper. Hye-sung's marriage preposal isn't really a preposal, he's again doing this just because Dojin wants to, and for Byul, while Dojin talks to him like he's someone he met at a work function and they're now sharing drinks at a bar. And so it continues on the same. You do very briefly get to see a glimpse of what could be with Dojin putting on the wedding dress and his dialogue after, but it's outweighed by the other sixty chapters to reach that point.Love Is an Illusion came on my radar because one) it's popular and two) it got a physical release by Seven Seas Entertainment. Dojin was a bit better at the end, but he was controlling, manipulative, rude protagonist who took advantage of someone in heat and then basically used their bad position in life to hold them there. Hye-sung and the BFF were honestly the most annoying parts for me. There is only so much Hye-sung’s “stupidity” could be used as an excuse for some of the frustrating choices he made through this book. The only likable characters here were Dojin’s family and sadly we don’t see them often enough to make reading this series enjoyable.
