Sound quality is very impressive. Music sounds as crisp and defined as it would if connected to the aux directly by a high-quality cable, so the limiting factor isn’t the SoundSync but the audio system in your car. You can also use the SoundSync at home with any stereo or speaker that supports an aux input.

Once a phone is paired it will auto connect when the SoundSync is powered on. That means, provided you leave Bluetooth switched on in your phone, all you need to do to start streaming when you get in the car is switch the SoundSync on and open your favourite music app. This device does allow using it for phone calls if you set it to, allowing hands-free phone in the car. As I mentioned, my car already has Bluetooth hands-free phone capability so I have turned this feature off. When you connect the device with your phone you get a choice to use it for just phone, just music, or both. I chose just music. Bluetooth has revolutionized the technological world and allowed us all to integrate wireless devices with ease - thanks to the best Bluetooth receiver. From speakers to smart hubs, wireless keyboards to headphones, Bluetooth is a highly convenient, low-power and low-cost method of seamlessly linking devices for a clutter-free and easy technological life. As with other data transfer technologies, like HDMI and USB ports and Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth has improved over the years. The numbers that appear after the Bluetooth name let you know which particular generation a device carries, and each has its particular parameters. This is the same frequency used by other household devices, such as smart home devices, radio-controlled toys and kitchen appliances. Because of its popularity, it is prone to getting cluttered, resulting in device interference. It is also the frequency used by Wi-Fi routers and might be one of the reasons your house suffers from patchy and inconsistent internet connections. Read our article on the best Wi-Fi routers to grab a router that can transmit on a much faster 5GHz frequency. The Anker Soundsync A3352 boasts a sleek and compact design that fits seamlessly into any setting. The sturdy build quality ensures durability, making it perfect for both car and home use. Its compact size allows for easy portability, allowing you to enjoy music wherever you go. Bluetooth 4.1: Improved Bluetooth 4.0 through greater data transfers and refined interaction with other Bluetooth devices.

Needless to say, I was impressed with both the receiving and transmitting capabilities of the Soundsync A3341. While I don’t own any equipment that provide digital inputs and outputs, I can only assume that this device would produce similar results for digital technology as well. The SoundSync is extremely easy to use. Once it receives power via the USB connector it can be switched on, after which pairing is very straightforward. A long press on the power button enables pairing and then you can select the device from the phone’s Bluetooth menu. If someone is looking for a way to extend the life of existing audio technology and incorporate it with today’s Bluetooth connectivity, look no further than the Anker AK-A3341011 Soundsync A3341 Bluetooth 2-In-1 Transmitter and Receiver. This versatile device clearly bridges the gap between older and newer technologies. The biggest downside to the Anker SoundSync Drive is the AUX port requirement. The AUX port isn't a downside. Far from it. It's miles ahead of the FM transmitter, in terms of audio performance. However, a significant number of older stereos don't have AUX ports. And if your stereo doesn't have an AUX port, this kit has no value to you.

What’s bad?

Connectivity is good, and the device sits out of sight inside my center console storage compartment. I just have to remember to turn it off when I leave the car, but even if it runs down it starts to charge again as soon as the car starts, so I am only out of music for a minute while it charges a bit. The Anker Soundsync A3352 delivered impressive audio performance across various settings. Whether connected to my car's audio system, home stereo, headphones, or speakers, the receiver maintained exceptional sound quality. The audio was crisp, with deep bass and clear treble, enhancing my music listening experience significantly. As a technology, Bluetooth has been commercially available since 1999. However, it is only in the last decade or so that technology has become widely adopted, particularly with the rise of portable technology, such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. Bluetooth is also commonplace in smart home devices and non-portable technology, like stereos, TVs and gaming consoles. What does 2.4GHz mean?
