The fact that they are washable is great just in case they accidentally mark Artie as you place the marker in the robot or if he strays from the paper so as not to permanently mark the table. I have been able to test a few STEM-related toys with them and now I get to check out the Artie 3000 by Educational Insights.

Artie 3000 does not require an internet connection however when connected and coding with Artie you cannot access other sites on the device you are using.It is good for STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) as not only is it visual but it encourages critical thinking, problem solving, creativity skills and imagination.

Artie 3000 includes 4 washable markers (Artie is also compatible with any similar-sized marker pens), Quick Start Guide, and Activity Cards. However, as my results show, there is a bit of an accuracy issue (maybe I am doing something wrong), that affects the desired outcome. Programs can first be tested on the online simulator, then set Artie free on a sheet of paper and watch as it draw!
