i came here for the luciansloane crumbs and i was not disappointed at all, especially after that bonus epilogue!!! the smeeex. Well, duh, I needed to comment on it šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø. The buildup was delicious šŸ¤¤ and oh so worth it. That counter and those walls didnā€™t see them coming šŸ˜‰. Whatā€™s a refractory period? Nash doesnā€™t know what it is šŸ„µthank God for small miracles šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø the moments of levity. If Iā€™m ever kidnapped, I hope to react the way Lina did šŸ˜… I definitely giggled when I know I shouldnā€™t šŸ¤£ I've been anticipating Things We Hide from the Light for so long. I was a little bit nervous about going in, because sometimes the second book is not as good as the first book (*points at my review of Queen of Myth and Monster*). But oh my god I should have never doubted Lucy Score! This book was pure joy and enjoyment. I couldn't stop reading. I swear every time I wanted to stop to go to sleep or go do something else, the chapter ended in a way that it was impossible for me to put it down. I needed to know what was going to happen next! This book is addictive af.

Maybe heā€™s here to have sex with you. Like some kind of dark sexy fairy granting dirty wishes,ā€ I teased. I noticed Knox didnā€™t bother greeting Lucian when he joined him. Looked like the pissed-off-ness was contagious. ā€œIā€™d rather go to the gynecologist and the dentist on the same day,ā€ Sloane said. the first spooning scene šŸ˜…. I don't know how it all happened, how A got to B, but... IšŸ”„WASšŸ”„HEREšŸ”„FORšŸ”„IT!!!! It helped relieve some of the... um... tension I was feeling because of this slow burn šŸ˜‰ rother. All's going great except for the neighbor girl, who not only hates snakes but seems to have a difficult attitude in general. Still, Naomi is determined to do the best she can. I enjoyed it, but not as much as TWNGO. TWHFTL has a very different feel to it, mostly because Nash is dealing with PTSD and depression after what happened at the end of book 1. Most of this book is Nash dealing with the aftermath, all while lusting over his new neighbor, Lina. He adopts the most adorable dog named Piper to help with his mental health, who I loved SO much. I love reading about dogs who have big personalities in books!

For those possessing a love for music and the thrill of the show, itā€™s an exciting path to get into for anyone, and the brave and assuredā€”which is often synonymous with youthā€”strike at it early on in life. Yet, the difference between the percentage of women compared to men is still staggering, despite the industry becoming more diverse and accessible. So, it can certainly feel like a more challenging profession for many women, especially if she decides to enter it outside her early twenties. Now hereā€™s the catchā€”even though Nash and Linaā€™s relationship was supposed to be the focal point of the story, their romance didnā€™t really interest me. I did enjoy the story over all (though I guessed who Burner Phone Guy was pretty early on), but I just wasnā€™t invested in N&Lā€™s relationship. Every character has the same personality across all of her books. You can basically replace any of her small towns with another of her small towns and the story would still work because everyone talks the same way, acts the same way, has the same quirks, uses the same style of bantering, etc. I know its just how she writes, but can we change it up? I should not be able to read one series and then find the same or identical conversations in another. But the most exciting part about what she does for a live show is ā€œWhat happens at the top of the show. The sound of the audienceā€”as the house lights go outā€”the roars of expectation and anticipation. I love that sound! It makes me proud that all these skilled people have come together in one place on one day and dominated their individual goals and jobs to create this special moment. Itā€™s a collective effort, and I am so happy and grateful to share that moment with people you come to know and love as family.ā€ Loveable Side Charactersā€”Naomi, Waylay, Liza J, Amanda and Lou, Lucian, Sloane, Fi, Stef (STEF šŸ„¹), Jeremiah, Dukeā€”I šŸ’• them all so much!

Her spice is good and there's a lot of it, but its not emotional? Is it just me? Its explicit and everything it should be but its never elicited much emotion from me. No idea why. Lucian and Sloane. Yeah. They get their own bullet. OMG THE TENSION šŸ”„ was just as šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø as that of Lina and Nash! šŸ‘ŒšŸ»šŸ‘ŒšŸ»šŸ‘ŒšŸ». Not me looking forward to seeing side characters that haven't gotten their book yetšŸ‘€. JEEEZUS... I know that their book is going to be šŸ”„šŸ”„. I couldnā€™t help but highlight some of their interactions. Itā€™s going to be LITTTTT (yeah. I know. Itā€™s a trite expression, but I donā€™t care šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤£)This is a book in a series, which centers around various animals and a girl's love for each and every one. The author does a terrific job at creating a familiar setting with a character to like and wish was a reader's friend. Readers will have no trouble identifying with her, and not only her love for animals but the relationships with her family and friends. She's simply a normal girl, and it's this which will have readers wanting to help the animals around them as well. I am introverted, quiet, and reserved. I like to think that I am also a super funny and kind person. I have profound emotional responses to music, art, and nature. I happily lose myself in daydreams, inventing all sorts of stories and conversations in my mind. I am also very curious about the depths of human nature. I love to champion the underdogs of the world. Sometimes, I can be quite meticulous about things I genuinely care about or projects Iā€™m working on, but I tend to overlook mundane or boring details. Compassionate and nonjudgmental, Iā€™m always willing to hear another personā€™s story. In any kind of relationship, I believe people need to feel comfortable sharing not only their wildest hopes and dreams but also their secret fears and vulnerabilities. I always strive to stay true to my own feelings and what I genuinely believe is important in life.

This is one of my most anticipated reads of this year, I loved the first book soooo much and I couldn't wait to get to Nash and Lina's story. It did not disappoint and if I am being totally honest, I loved it even more then the first book! This book is nonstop entertainment. I was either swooning, laughing, or fanning my face the entire book.! I love that this book discusses social thinking in an age-appropriate way, for example, Naomi is asked about reactions people have to animals deemed more creepy and instead of sharing something that might embarrass someone else, the author gives some space for Naomi to consider the consequences of sharing something personal about someone else. It is great modeling for younger readers. Awarded 04/16: Yousuf Almurtaji, The relationships between behavioural problems and academic achievement in Kuwait Primary Schools.

Lucy Score never does me wrong! A beautiful and emotional small-town romance that everyone should read. Main character Naomi is thrilled when her mother brings home a snake to care for from her job at the exotic animal hospital. Naomi asks her friend Emma and her brother Nolan to form a snake rescue club where they can help rescue snakes in their neighborhood. Unfortunately, their next-door neighbor Taylor, absolutely hates snakes and does not want Naomi saving them. Taylor wants all the snakes gone.
